Show answer and explanation
D They count the votes after the election ends.
Why?
Election workers (Wahlhelfer) run the polling stations on election day and count the votes after voting ends. Voting itself is secret, so they do not go into the booth with voters. Election notifications are sent by the municipality, and results are published officially, not passed on early to the media.
Remember: Wahlhelfer count the votes.
