C The voter may neither be influenced nor forced to cast a specific vote and shall suffer no disadvantages as a result of the election. Die Wählerin/der Wähler darf bei der Wahl weder beeinflusst noch zu einer bestimmten Stimmabgabe gezwungen werden und keine Nachteile durch die Wahl haben.
Why?
Free elections mean that nobody may pressure, threaten or bribe you to vote a certain way, and your vote must not cause you any disadvantage. This is one of the election principles in Article 38 of the Basic Law. Buying votes is a crime, and voting in Germany is a right, not a duty.

Freie Wahlen bedeuten: Niemand darf die Wählerin oder den Wähler beeinflussen oder zu einer bestimmten Stimme zwingen, und die Wahl darf keine Nachteile bringen. Das steht in Artikel 38 Grundgesetz. Stimmenkauf ist verboten, und es gibt keine Wahlpflicht.
